June 2010:
Beauty Through Cancer launches it's signature education program
"Hair - Skin - Hope" at Cancer care of WNC. This program focuses on education for cancer patients, caregivers and family about the effects of cancer treatments on Hair, Skin, Nails and general appearance issues associated with cancer treatments. Beauty Through Cancer will present a program directly to patients as well as having volunteers in the office one day aweek to help patients "one on one" with appearance issues such as wigs, scarves and makeup tips. This program will be available at cancer centers across the WNC area by the end of 2010._____________________
April 2010:

The First Annual 3 B's For Boobs festival was a huge success raising more than $13,000 for Beauty Through cancer Programs. Thanks to Highland Brewing Company, The Asheville Affiliates and all our sponsors and supporters who helped make this event a success.
May 2010:
Our evening with "The Little Shop of Horrors" at Asheville Community Theatre, hosted by Charlotte St. Computer's "Power on Community" program was a huge success...everyone had a great time, not only at the play, but also at the pre party hosted by Fiore's Ristorante.
April 2010:
McGuire, Wood & Bissette hosted a potential sponsor party for The Beauty Ball 2010, with food by City Bakery and beer from Highland Brewing Company. This was a great "friendraiser"

September 2009:
Our first private fundraiser was held at the home of Kitty and Bill Hunt in Bilmore Park. This luncheon was hosted by the "Two Kitty's" journey group with food by Chef Mo's.
